What type of custom brushes are those in photoshop?

I don't think there are any custom brushes on this image. The stuff that looks like brushes is real ink or pencil turned into color in PS. There are some areas where a texture was scanned in and placed in PS though.

I really dig your work.
When I saw the cover to Loose Ends #1 for free comic book day I was hooked.

Seeing that the colors goes beyond the lineart adds more depth and emotion to the scene, I think is pretty gnarly.

Also, Cover #3 of Loose Ends got me curious of the brushes used on that cover as well. All good stuff.

Love the greeny-blues. Great, simple, bold layout that reminds of...something retro...can't put my finger on it. The character himself reminds me Colossus plus Madman. Nice stuff.
